Ice Cool is so hot!

At Gen Con 2016 last month, Ice Cool was one of the hot games that sold out rather quickly.

I hadn’t heard about it at all before Gen Con. And it’s probably not surprising because Ice Cool is published by Brain Games out of Latvia.

Coming home with 13 games from Gen Con, Ice Cool was one that I was super excited to play because I thought it might go over well with the family.

And boy, was I right!

And Then There Were 2

On Wednesday, Jaden headed out on his 2-year mission to serve the people in Singapore and Malaysia!

He’s been looking forward to this day for so long and it’s so exciting that it’s finally here.

He was all smiles as we dropped him off at the Missionary Training Center where he would spend the next couple months learning Mandarin Chinese before making his way to Singapore.

In fact, everyone was all smiles.

There’s not doubt it’s an emotional moment.

It’s fun to Bring Your Own Book

We’ve always enjoyed reading books in our family.

Jaden and Caleb in particular absolutely devour books. I don’t know where they got their ability to speed-read, but they read circles around me.

So when we got a recently released game from Gamewright that involves books, we were anxious to play it.

And now that we’ve played it, we can confirm that Bring Your Own Book is a fantastic game for families.
