2018 – Year in Review

We’re not sure if 2018 flew by for you, but it sure seemed like it did for us. We passed a number of milestones as a family this year. And we ended 2018 with a bang by taking a family vacation over Christmas and into the New Year. It’s so great to all be together again.

Head of Mousehold card game review

Tom & Jerry was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. Jerry would antagonize Tom to no end in every episode with lots of slapstick antics.

No matter how hard he tried, Tom could never get rid of Jerry.

For some reason, playing Head of Mousehold by FoxMind took me back to those simple, lazy Saturday mornings.

Thunderstone Quest is the best yet!

When AEG announced they were again revising Thunderstone and were set to publish Thunderstone Quest, we rolled our eyes. With all the original Thunderstone and Thunderstone Advance cards and expansions already on our game shelves, did we really want to dive into yet another implementation of the game?

Well, a couple months ago we got a copy and gave it a go…

Century: Golem Edition card game review

Century: Golem Edition is a fantastic board game for the whole family!

It’s a game that both young and old players can all enjoy playing together. The game play is straightforward yet also offers enough choices due to the variety of cards and when they appear to keep players coming back for more.

Catan’s digital rebirth: Catan Universe

One of the most popular board games published in the last few decades is Catan.

Well, it used to be called Settlers of Catan – but within the last few years officially shortened the name to just Catan.
