I never realized I had been playing Hangman wrong all these years.

Not playing it wrong in the sense that I didn’t follow the rules – guessing a letter, marking it off the list, and adding it to the word if correct or placing a body part on the board if incorrect. But playing it wrong in how to go about guessing the letters for the words.

D-Day Commemoration – Memoir ’44 all night

Today marks the 68th anniversary of D-Day – the Allied invasion of Normandy during World War II. On June 6, 1944, 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches of Normandy, France.

For such an occasion, there are many different was people commemorate D-Day around the world. This year, we’re commemorating D-Day by playing Memoir ’44.

Battleship the Movie – Will it sink?

I don’t know about you, but when I heard they were making a Battleship movie based off of the famous board game I rolled my eyes big time. I was very skeptical.

On one hand I love the idea of taking fun family board games to the big screen. What a great way to promote a fun family pastime. Make a great movie and get people interested in playing fun games with their families again.
