Our second son is currently working on earning his driver’s license. In order to get his license he must first take a driver’s education course, carry a pre-driver’s license permit for 6 months during which he must log 40 hours of driving with a parent/adult, then pass the driver’s test. Once he’s done all that, he’s legally able to drive a car on his own.

But nowhere in all those mandatory requirements is “must play a board game”.

In the coming months we’ll be building homes for needy families in Mexico with Builders Without Borders. We’re so excited for the service we’ll render and the ways we’ll grow.

Last week I was in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA on business and visited the Fantasy Flight Games Event Center.

What a fun place for gaming!

Because a number of our favorite board games are published by Fantasy Flight Games, I’d heard about the Fantasy Flight Event Center before. However, I didn’t realize (or simply pay attention) that the FFG was in Minnesota.

I love looking forward to fun events.
Imagining what an activity will be like gives me a chance to have fun and be happy long before it even takes place.

It happens with a lot of the big events in our lives, but can be just as rewarding for smaller events as well.
Like this week’s Guys Game Night that I can hardly wait for!
