Doodle Quest – Fun family doodling

The other day we shared 5 Traits that make a great Family Game.
And today we’re taking a look at a specific game that has all of those traits – Doodle Quest.
Like the name suggests, Doodle Quest is all about doodling.
But with each doodle, players are trying to score points from special objectives.
It’s really a unique and fresh type of family game.
See what the game is all about in Brooke’s short video review of Doodle Quest.
Can the whole family enjoy Doodle Quest?
While not everyone thinks themself an artist, everyone can draw lines and circles. And that’s all it takes to play Doodle Quest.
Even when players have to draw a fish, they use a stencil to draw the fish, so there’s no stress there either.
Every card is also double-sided – with a simple challenge on one side and a more difficult challenge on the reverse side.
So if parents and kids want to challenge each other, it’s easy. The young kids can play the side with the yellow icon and the adults can play the black side.
Doodle Quest is also a great value family game because you can get a copy for under $20.
How does Doodle Quest score on our “Let’s Play Again” game meter?
Doodle Quest scores high on our “let’s play again” game meter because we have yet to stop after one play.
The transparencies and dry erase markers are really what make the game so replayable. Not only are they the essence of how to play the game, they’re also why the game can be played over and over so much.
We’ve heard that there may be more Doodle Quest versions in the future and we definitely agree that there are many possibilities for fun Doodle Quest themes.
Thanks Blue Orange Games for a fun game for the whole family.
