Hundreds of new board games at Spiel 2011
For all those English speakers, it’s mostly referred to as “Spiel Essen”, since that’s where it’s held – Essen Germany and it’s all about games (Spiel in German).
So for anyone looking for a new game, you’ll have about 400 more to choose from by the end of this week. Is that enough for you to choose from?
If you’re going, don’t look for us because we won’t be there. No doubt that we think a trip to Germany would be awesome. But we just can’t get away this week. 🙂
Of course, we will be keeping an eye on things to see what games become the talk of the show. There are a few new board games that we’ve heard of that we may be interested in, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Spiel Essen attracts over 130,000 attendees, so if you’re interested in going, you won’t be alone.
And if you do go (or have been in the past), we’d love to hear about your experience. After all, it doesn’t start until Oct 20th (Thursday) so you still have time to get there.
