Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cheese Touch Board Game
When you have a popular book series that appeals to kids what do you do next? You make a family board game out of it.
And guess what – kids love it like they love the books.
The books are full of crazy characters, situations, and stories that kids can relate to. And the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cheese Touch Board Game takes those characters and fills a game of crazy questions to answer and things to do.
See why our daughter Brooke likes the board game so much in her video review.
Can the whole family enjoy playing Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cheese Touch Board Game?
If they’re willing to answer wacky questions and be silly, then yes, they will. We haven’t played all of the cards in Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cheese Touch Board Game yet, but what we have seen is pretty fun. The kids especially get a laugh out of the questions and situations on the cards.
Is there any challenge to the game?
Yes, there is. We find that the toughest cards are the “Do It Like This” cards. They are the cards where you’re trying to guess the way others are acting. They look at the adverb on the card and you tell them something to do in that manner – like “tie your shoe like this”. Then from how they’re acting you have to guess the word. So many of the adverbs are similar that sometimes it’s tough to distinguish.
And we’ve had more than one frustrated child when they take multiple turns on the same spot because they just can’t get it right. So we made a house rule that if you’re on a spot without getting off for 3 turns in a row then you can move ahead 1 space.
The funny thing is that even though they may get frustrated once in a while, they still love the game.
How does Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cheese Touch Board Game score on the “Let’s play again” meter?
Our kids give Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cheese Touch Board Game high marks on our “Let’s play again” family game meter. I think it’s because they just love the crazy questions that come up during the game. And they also like to try a rematch when they aren’t the ones to the finish line first or if they hold on to the cheese for most of the game.
Thanks Pressman Toys for a family board game that the kids really enjoy!
