Hooray, school’s out!

Time to gather the family and head off on the much needed family vacation. Vacations are awesome! Full of family time together and fun memories.

But there’s a catch – or maybe two catches. First, vacations take money. Second, once they end, it’s back to the same routines. Unless, of course, you have tons of money and can spend the whole summer on vacation.

Either way, you’re still looking ahead at a couple months of hearing the kids repeating “I’m bored.”

So what can you do to mix up the monotony?
Of course, you’d expect us to say “pull out a fun board game.” Sure that can be a part of the summer, but this time we want to point you to a fabulous resource that we love: Kim and Jason’s Guide to Cheap Family Fun

You may have seen previous articles we’ve written referring to their website because, like us, they’re all about family fun and finding a way to Escape Adultitis (ways to let your inner kid back out).

Well, now they’ve put together a whole year’s worth of Cheap Family Fun ideas.

Head on over to their site and check out the Kim and Jason’s Guide to Cheap Family Fun!

Here’s what others are saying:

My kids and I are having a great time — I don’t think a dollar a week is too much to spend to create priceless memories!
–Jill Fleming, Wisconsin

We did the Accent Dinner and it was great! Thank you for a terrific (and totally free) idea. We loved it!! And it proves that the most memorable moments have nothing to do with how much you spend.
